Join the Village of Egg Harbor and the Egg Harbor Library to celebrate winter and community with free fun! There will be activities all day to highlight the Kress Pavilion’s offerings from fitness to food!
Activities include:
- Three yoga classes, free and open to the public.
- A Showcase of the Egg Harbor Library of Thing’s Food Additions with a pasta-making class
- Ukulele Show with No Name Ukulele Band with Door County Ukulele Society
- Successful Winter Seed Sowing Demonstration with the Door County Seed Library
- Pizza from Pizza Bros paired with a visit from the Open-Door Bird Sanctuary
- Village History Displays and a program with the Egg Harbor Historical Society in the History Center.

Join Liz for a co-ed yoga class! You will practice the basics of all the yoga asanas and you will find that you are getting stronger, more flexible can able to quiet your mind. Set this hour aside just for yourself, our calm and serene setting will be sure to take your mind off of other worries.
Successful Winter Seed Sowing at 11am
The Door County Seed Library will host a Successful Winter Seed Sowing demonstration by veteran gardener Karen Kidd, a Door County resident and former member of Door County Master Gardeners. Karen has been happily practicing winter sowing techniques for years. Guests can pick up free seeds and enter to win a Winter Seed Sowing kit! The Door County Seed Library’s mission is to cultivate the power of seed by offering free seeds and gardening classes to the Door County community. Finding Your Center Beginning Yoga with Liz Clark at 12 pm
Participants will facilitate “finding your center” with breath and body balance. Starting from the ground upward to the top of your head, we will practice movements which connect you with your body, heart and intellectual wholeness. ‘Educating the Town’ presented by Egg Harbor Historical Society at 1 pm
This presentation will cover the history of the 3 churches in Egg Harbor; the 5 Egg Harbor township schools; and the supporting institutions of the bookmobile service and the library service, from Egg Harbor’s first library inside the Stage Coach Junction in 1969 to the library in the Paul Bertschinger Community Center in 1985 to our present Kress – Egg Harbor Library in 2018. “Educating the Town” visit: https://www.eggharborhistory.org/
Pasta Making 101 at 1 pm
Join us in the MakerSpace for an afternoon of pasta making (and tasting!) In this hands-on class you will learn how to make your own handmade dough, using a pasta sheeter. Also You will also be introduced to the Library of Things, electric pasta and noodle maker with 3 Interchangeable pasta shape plates. Class is limited to 10, so please call 920-868-3334 ext 3 to sign up.
Ukulele Show with Ukulele Society of Door County at 2 pm
