Join the Village of Egg Harbor and the Egg Harbor Library to celebrate winter and community with free fun! From fitness to food, there will be activities all day to highlight the Kress Pavilion’s offerings!
Activities include:
- Morning yoga class, free and open to the public.
- A Showcase of the Egg Harbor Library of Thing’s and the Maker Space available for candle making.
- Ukulele Gig with No Name Ukulele Band with Door County Ukulele Society
- Indoor Seed Sowing Demonstration and free seeds from the Door County Seed Library
- Pizza from Pizza Bros paired with a visit from the Open-Door Bird Sanctuary
- Village History Displays and a program with the Egg Harbor Historical Society in the History Center focusing Egg Harbor
- Coffee & Donuts complementing a short presentation by the Public Arts Initiative (PAI)

Join Liz for a co-ed yoga class! You will practice the basics of all the yoga asanas and you will find that you are getting stronger, more flexible can able to quiet your mind. Set this hour aside just for yourself, our calm and serene setting will be sure to take your mind off of other worries.

On Your Mark, Get Set, Grow! How to Jump-start Your Garden with Seeds at 11am
Learn how you can start your garden with indoor seed-sowing techniques with a few easy and manageable steps. Preparation, growing station set up and pre-season projects will be some of the tips you will learn. Karen will also follow up on the winter sowing presentation she did in 2023 answering any questions and revisiting the process for interested attendees at the end of the talk. There will also be Free seeds and resources available. Enter to win seed starting supplies!

‘Getting to Know Our Town…it’s institutions of learning’ presented by Egg Harbor Historical Society at 1 pm
This presentation will cover the history of the 3 churches in Egg Harbor; the 5 Egg Harbor township schools; and the supporting institutions of the bookmobile service and the library service, from Egg Harbor’s first library inside the Stage Coach Junction in 1969 to the library in the Paul Bertschinger Community Center in 1985 to our present Kress – Egg Harbor Library in 2018.

Candle Making -Open-Studio activity 9am-1pm
The Egg Harbor Library’s MakerSpace is open for all ages. Drop in to explore and use any equipment available. Users of this space need to register at the circulation desk during library hours. This month Hygge Candle Making is available as a walk-in Open Studio activity. There will be materials available. Learn how to make a scented (or plain, if you prefer!) soy candle These projects are for adults teens, and school age participants with adult supervision.
