Join us for some local ship talk! If you are a “boatnerd” or “ship junkie”, this event is definitely for you! Or maybe you just want to learn more about the world of Great Lakes shipping?
Matthew Deringer, Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator, Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding, will entertain questions from the audience around his experiences in the shipyard from fabrication of new vessels to changes made over time, safety, winter layover ships and more! “Ship Talk” is suitable for both “beginners and old timers”! We especially would like to hear from those who have worked in the yard.
