Join us for a watercolor workshop with a view in the Great Hall with Artist Kari Anderson. Gaze over the bay and gather your inspiration from sailboats, water, big sky and sunsets. We will discuss color, composition, and topics of your choice with demos, problem-solving and personal attention. Beginners and those who wish to hone their craft are welcome.
August 1 – 10 AM – 3 PM
$110 per student: Lunch Provided + Door Prizes for Participants.
Maximum 15 per class. BYO Supplies. A basic supplies list will be available. Proceeds benefit Friends of the Pavilion.
About Kari: Kari Anderson was born in Decorah, Iowa and is of Scandinavian ancestry. She has been painting in watercolor for about the past 35 years, most of that time in Door County.
Her favorite subjects are wintery landscapes, and abstract florals. Prints from her whimsical “tomte” series and Door County Lighthouse series remain favorites of collectors who follow her work.
Her distinctive, fluid watercolor style makes her the most recognizable watercolor artist in Door County.
