April 22nd, 2020 is the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day!
The Earth Week Door County Steering Committee is proud to announce the second annual Every Day is Earth Day Festival, scheduled for April 2020. This event celebrates the people, organizations, and businesses that uphold our sustainable culture in Door County and beyond. Every Day is Earth Day comprises an environmentally focused weekend of resource exchange, an open house, guest speakers, demonstrations, films, and activities for people of all ages.
The 2020 festival theme is “What Can I Do to Help Our Mother Earth?” With the primary focus being how to make sustainable choices beyond your home.
Tuesday, April 21st – Eco-films. Details to come.
Earth Day! Wednesday, April 22nd: 6pm – 5XP. An artistic event inspired by the Earth. More details to come.
Friday, April 24th: 6pm – Round Table. Join the conversation with the panel, and meet others interested in earth-friendly living.
Saturday, April 25th: 10am to 4pm – Open Information from Exhibitors. Learn more about the Green organizations, businesses, non-profits, and other resources we have in Door County.
The Steering Committee includes representatives from various organizations: Climate Change Coalition Door County, Sustain Door, Door County Thrive, Clean Water Action Council, Door County Environmental Council, Forest Recovery Project, Egg Harbor Green Tier Task Force, Donald & Carol Kress Pavilion, and the Stella Maris On Care for Our Common Home Committee
