Join us for a reading & book signing with Sammie Rae. Rae is the author of The Door in Motion, a heartfelt book of poetry and photography that will strike a cord with Door County residents and visitors.
A Wisconsin native, Rae operated Sammie Rae’s Homemade in Egg Harbor since 2009. As the Peninsula Pulse so eloquently put it, Rae went from “pickles to poetry,” and transitioned from selling homemade creations to writing.
The Door in Motion is Sammi’s first book and is a poetic journey that aims to reveal the beauty and innocence of nature.
