Dance the Stories and Intergenational Dance Class in the Great Hall
Four week session: March 2, 9 and April 13, 20 at 4pm
Join us for Dance the Stories, an intergenerational dance class. Child and parent or grandparent will explore stories through dance and incorporate ballet, modern Contemporary and jazz. The class will provide lots of opportunity for fun adult-child interaction, with a creative foundation.
The class is four weeks, with size is limited to eight participants, masks are required and class will practice social distancing. Students are asked to bring two mats for their pair.
About the Instructor: Elizabeth Clark has received awards for her choreography and teaching: (NDEO) National Dance Educa-tion Organization award for Meritorious Service to Children. She received the Helen Quinn Award for Excellence in Dance Teaching and Literacy, Ms. Clark has a BFA in Dance from Stephens College. 32 Hours Special Study in Dance Performance, Choreography and Anatomy for Dance at the Juilliard School of Music, NY.NY. Ms. Clark performed with the Juilliard Dance Ensemble and toured for Lincoln Center Educational Program. She has studied with the National Ballet of Canada Summer International Teachers Programs and has Level 1 and11 Certifications in Conscious Body Coaching with Dr. Karen Wolf, the National Wellness Institute
Cost: $40 each young person | $75 per adult and child pair
