In partnership with the Climate Change Coalition, the Village of Egg Harbor is once again making it easy for our residents to be part of the Big Plant!
What is the Big Plant? – For the second year in a row, the Climate Change Coalition is promoting an initiative to get trees to community members for planting! Last year the Big Plant was responsible for the planting of 19,000 trees in Door County – over 500 of those in the Village of Egg Harbor alone!
When: Plantings are encouraged to happen April 22-May 22, but the trees need to be ordered by April 8
How to Participate: There is a choice of White Cedar, Red Pine, White Pine, or White Spruce and they are .96 each. Fill out the form and indicate how many you would like. Trees will be available for pick up at Every Day is Earth Day at Kress Pavilion on April 23.
Payment is due at the time of pick up! Also, please note that if your trees are not picked up in a timely manner the Village does not guarantee their success rate. Trees not picked up by 4pm on April 25 will be forfeited.
